One of my colleague got caught in drink n Drive case. He was not arrested but drink n Drive case registered against him.
He appeared in court n judge gave him 2000rs fine.
Now... He got offer from investment bank. He is very worried that if drink n Drive will affect his job prospect in Barclay's.
Does Barclay's do consider drink n Drive as criminal and inadmissible offence.
What should my friend do so that there should be no problem after joining

In case the information from police appears in any portal, during police verification, the prospective employer may tag this. More than Barclays looking at it, it is very simple that the employee may not be treated as a good candidate or employee, who do not observe simple traffic rules. Today it is drinking and driving and after joining the new employer, it may be another offence, which will only show his scant regard for rules and regulations of the land. He may even create another problem within the company. Ask your friend to change his attitude first.
Best wishes
