Sir please clear my doubt. an employee joined in an organization as an apprentice. he worked in the organization as an apprentice for a period of one year. thereafter he worked in the organization for four years. after that he resigned his job. should the organization provide gratuity to him? i request you to clear my doubt. regards s.david

Dear all i have joined one organization on 1stjan2011 and the organization having more than 600 employee. the organization every month giving salary and in salary slip some amount of rs. 500 is showing in gratuity. so what if i left the organization after 6 years did i will get gratuity or not. regards rajesh

Dear senior hr member. i have a query on my gratuity payable by my last organization. in my last organization i worked for 4 years 11 months and 23 days just 1 week less than 5 years i have asked the employer to release my gratuity as per the govt. regulation. as per i know gratuity is payable to any employee who is having continuous employment for more than 4 years and 240 days. my organization refused to release saying i am not eligible for the payment. i request senior hr and ir member to please responde if i am eligible for gratuity and if so what is the steps / actions i should follow to inform my last organization to get my gratuity amount. thanks and regards rp

Hi i have worked in the organization for the period approx. 4.10 years from 1.4.2016 to 8.2.2021 and the organization is refusing the eligibility of gratuity. i have overviewed the various sites and know from the other sources that this period comes under gratuity benefits. further "gratuity act" itself mentions 4 years continuous service and 5th year 240 days come under this gratuity eligibility. please suggest and provide the relevant documented sources so that i can further escalate my matter with the company and other government agencies.

Dear seniors i am seeking your legal openion regarding applicability of gratuty in below case a person has joined an organization during his tenure with the organization he got transfferd 56 times in diffrent establishments of the organization without completing 5 years in any of the company though he has served almost 20 years in the organiztion. my questeion is wheather he is eligible for gratuity if yes what would be the period / tenure of service if it is 20 years reqested to please provide the reffrels / judgements can seniors help me in this issue
