If 12 days sick leave is mandatory for employees. As ours is security agency compulsorily we need to give sick leave for our employees as per karnataka labour act. Please clarify
A security agency, as an independent entity, would be an " Establishment " under the State Shops and Establishments Act thereby entitling its employees to all kinds of leave under the Act. However, when they are deputed to the sites of the clients' establishments as contract labour they would be covered by the leave provisions of the establishment-related labour law applicable thereto.

You need to refer security guard act, as per the act 21 days leaves or leave encasement is compulsory to be considered and their is no special provision for sick leave as such. In the month of Jan it is compulsory to pay the encashment of leave for unavailed leave.
