Is Insurance cover a mandatory compliance requirement for an Employee under Haryana labour laws for those who are not under the ESIC coveage. Kindly advice. Thanks and Regards, Sunil

It is not mandatory for Employees who are outside the purview of ESI Coverage.But, in your own interest, it is better you take appropriate Policy covering all the risks involved considering the nature of activity carried on by your company

It is always advisable to have employee compensation policy. It can be discussed with any general insurance company rep. The policy will cover all likely employment injuries for the period, including death.
