Dear HR Professionals,
Wanted advice on one of my query i.e we have branch office in Mumbai and our head office is in Delhi so my query is that is it mandatory to have separate sexual harassment committee for branch office. As we have a common sexual harassment policy and committee for all employees. kindly advice is there any mandatory requirement to have separate committee for other branches.
Thanks,

You please refer to clause 4(1) of the Sexual Harrassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013. As per this, seperate committees are to be constituted. The Act says, that where the offices or administrative units of the workplace are located at different places or divisional or sub-divisional level, the Internal Committee shall be
constituted at all administrative units or oflices.
