Contract labour act - security on contract comes under contract labour act or not?
Dear sir/mam i am facing some issues related to contract labour. my first issue is security on contract comes under contract labour act or not and the second issue is a canteen jcb bus and staff of third party service also comes under contract labour regulation and abolition act pls help me to come out from this problem.

Dear friends this is my first login on the post. my query is: i seek your advice with respect to overtime register. our company regd office in gurgaon provides canteen service to a company in rajasthan tapukara on contract basis where our employees are deputed. now the company wants us to maintain overtime register for the said employees out of whom one is contract labour for my company. now query is under which act should i maintain overtime register for those 4 employees? kindly guide regards meenakshi

can any bady share with me contract labour forms format which are require for labour contract compliance. 1 maintain muster roll and a register of wages in form xvi & form xvii respectively when combined 2 register or wagecummuster roll in form xvii where the wage period is a fortnight or less 3 maintain a register of deductions for damage or loss register of fines and register of advances in form xx form xxi & form xxii respectively 4 maintain a register of overtime in form 5 to issue wage slips in form xix to the workmen at least a day prior to the disbursement of wages. thanks & regards vikas 8087797295
Payment of gratuity for contract labour
Dear friends i am having a question whether gratuity is applicable to the labour engaged through a contractor under contract labour regulation & abolition act? for more clear i have engaged one security guard through a security agency under contract labour regulation & abolition act. i have not registered under the clra act since i have not engaged 20 or more like wise my agency has also not got the license since they have not deployed 20 or more persons to my establishment and more over i have not issued any form v as required under the act. under the above scenrio i am in doubt whether that security guard engaged through a security agency is a contract labour governed under the provisions of clra act or not? if he is governed under the clra act whether grautuity is payable to him or not ? he had already completed 5 yrs of service and left on his own accord. kindly clarify

Hello everyone i m hoping you could help me clarify the requirements for contract labour to register in india. we are a company based abroad and are looking to hire one individual on contract for service governed by another jurisdiction outside of india. i believe that the individual needs to register with the relevant authorities to be able to work in this capacity but the individual seems to disagree with that. also am i right in thinking that we do not require any registration in india as we will only have one contractor? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
