Every month employees getting sick, pls help
Hello in our software firm every month at least 2 employees are getting sick. and we can not stop it. we did a mistake 2 month ago one employee was sick and we allow him long the sick leave and gave full salary. after the that now everybody start doing it. we think all are getting the advantages though s/he is not sick and submit fake medical certificate please help me how do we over come this situation. thank you rasel

Dear all i have recently joined this organization which didnt have any leave policy. i implemented one in accordance to the mum shops estb act. now there is a trend of employees going on sick leave every week. every other day i am getting sick leave requests. we are allowing a total of 8 every year the rest is unpaid. but the emp just dont seem to care that their sal will be deducted while the mngmnt is gttng upset. what cud be the reason for this sudden wave of sick leaves.. ?? kindly assist.... regards.
Misuse of sick leaves in december month - how to stop that from happening?
Hi everyone in my current organization the sick leave policy is such that after the calendar year is over the pending sick leave gets lapsed. hence the majority of my employees use pending sick leaves in december. how to stop that from happening? we have majority absenteeism in december month.

What s the most effective way to allow paid time off for your employees? do you differentiate between sick & vacation? because i have all these complaining employees i ve only been the hr mananger here for 6 months who want to schedule their remaining sick/personal days off before the end of the year. there hasn t been really clear direction up until i came on the scene. our current policy states that employees may only carry over 2 days per yearand that doesn t include sick daysthey may not be carried over. i have currently 3 employees who have not used their sick days and feel entitled to carry them over since so many others used theirs throughout the year by calling in sick. then those that don t call in sick feel like they re being punished for not. what to do? i want to change our policies on this all around and not have sick days only vacation/personal. any thoughts to this longggggggggggggg winded question???? :lol:

Hi all i am working with a small software firmi am alone in hr dept here. employees who are working with this firm are talented and served a good tenure here.they are undisciplined regards to working hours and leaves. there are two group mgmt and employees.employees have created a college like atmosphere considering mgmt as professors. pls suggest for make my employees professionals. thanks
