A HR policy manual should contain the SPIRIT of the organisation.... companies but the letters in bold and the spirit is left in the cold!!!
This should be an easy task if the organisation has professed VALUES and there was not gap between precept and practice... but when the values and commitment to them is hazy : then you have a BLUE BOOK ( a xerox copy of the HR managers manual in the previous company!!!)
