Pf transfer from epfo to trust
Hi my previous company maintained its pf with epfo mumbai but new company its a foreign bank has its own trust. i applied for transfer of pf from epfo to my new firm s trust by filling up the relevant form and submitted to hr of my new firm who in turn submitted to but epfo rejected the request saying: as epf act is not to the bank is to form 10c for of pf & fpf . my firm s hr explained that above comment is slightly confusing and actually epfo means to say : i can transfer the pf from epfo to trust. but since my firm s trust only takes care of epf and not eps for pension therefore epfo wants me to withdraw the eps amount by filling up form 10c and then they ll allow transfer of epf to my firm s trust. now i wish to know: 1 in such case pf transfer from epfo to trust is it really mandatory to withdraw the eps amount? if not mandatory should i again contact 2 i am in no need of surplus funds at the moment so what is beneficial in long run and how withdraw eps or let it remain with them? kindly advise. regards vaibhav
Can we transfer pf from epfo (govt.) to pf trust (private)?
Hello can we transfer pf from govt. epfo to any private pf trust? brief background on this question is i worked for a company a in bangalore and that company had my pf accumulated in pf office karnataka. i quit company a and joined company b where company b is in maharashtra. company b doesn t have pf with govt. but have a pf trust maintained by some private company. now i filled form for pf transfer and sent it to company a for transfering that pf amount to current company s pf trust. after 9 months i see the status of my application to be "denied/ rejected" stating the letter has been sent with details for rejection. of course i didn t receive any letter from them yet though. i again applied pf transfer it was rejected again. with all this wait time of over 1 year i now have applied for pf withdrawal forcibly which is not recommended though for any employee working for private companies. and hope it will be processed with no issues this time. my question is can we transfer pf from epfo govt. to pf trust private? please clarify me on this. i m assuming an answer to this question to be a 'no' because my application has been rejected twice. please share your thoughts on this and correct me if i m wrong. thanks & best regards bk. thitherwards
Pf transfer to new company from multiple previous companies
Respected senior members of the forum and hr personnel i have a specific query regarding pf transfer. i searched the forum but did not find answer for this. i have worked for company a from 2010 to 2014 and then joined company b and applied for pf transfer online. the transfer process completed successfully so i know how the transfer process works. both these companies maintained the pf accounts with now very recently few days back in 2015 i have joined company c and they are maintaining their pf accounts in internal exempted trust. i haven t yet applied for pf transfer from b to c. i can initiate it after couple of months. that s not the issue. the issue is i am not liking the new job i.e company c and planning to find some other opportunity and quit soon and move to a potential future employer d. now my concern / query is: 1 if i leave c and join d in next 23 months before transferring pf from b to c will i need to transfer pf from b to c first and then from c to d? or can i transfer pf accounts of both b and c to d together with two separate transfer requests? will this be an issue. 2 since company c is maintained pf trust i think they may not help in the transfer from b to c if i leave them before doing so. 3 is there any difference in the way eps is transferred from/to the pf account maintained in exempted trust? please help. regards sd
Private company provident fund trusts uan epfo
Sir i work in a company which has its own provident fund trust which manages the provident fund of its employees. recently they collected a lot of documents from us employees for uan universal account number scheme. my question is after the uan becomes operational for epfo will employees like us who are not registered with epfo instead registered with company managed private provident fund trust get any uan number? can we also see our balance online? secondly my company also collected aadhar numbers for pf uan purpose. i guess that means if any of us change job it becomes mandatory for us to transfer our pf account instead of closing the old one and withdrawing the amount and opening a new one at the new office. my question is after implementation of uan will there be any problem for transfer of pf account for people like us who are registered with company s inhouse provident fund trust? any knowledgeable person please help.
