Hi,
My PF contribution amount is around 3 lakhs, whereas interest should get credited approximately 25000 (if interest rate is 8.65%). but i am observing very less which is around 9000. Could any one guide me, how should i get resolve this issue.
Few details related to my PF account which may help you
1. I worked for 3 companies and transferred all old PF accounts
2. i worked in each company around 2 to 3 years

PF constitutes of employee & employer contributions of 12%. The details are as follows:
Scheme Name Employee contribution Employer contribution Total
Employee provident fund 12% 3.67% 15.67%
Employees' Pension scheme 0 8.33% 8.33%
PF Member accrues interest on 15.67% of total contributions, and not on 24%.

I suggest you go and speak to the PRO in the PF Department / RPFC office. They are helpful and will tell you why and how it is computed

have you downloaded your latest Member Pass Book? Please note that Employer Contribution to EPS @8.33% maximum up to will not earn any interest & the same is not reflected in Member Balance.I am sure your calculation is with out any documentary evidence.Please download the same & revert if there is any factual errors.
