Hello, I have a query regarding professional tax. we are having our branches in all over India and we are submitting the professional tax from our head office Kolkata. The Professional tax is deducted as per the the rates of different states. So, can we submit the PT of all the branches from head office with one registration ID.

No. You need to obtain state-wise registration numbers & remit the amounts in such states.

Thanks for your valuable answer to my query.But I have asked no. of HR regarding the same and they have different opinions regarding this. Some has told me that we can submit the PT tax from the one office of the entire branch. So can you suggest the correct answer as I am in dilemma.
