Hello All,

I completed my schooling from a reputed public school in Delhi and then I did 3 years BBA diploma. When I applied for MBA, I came to know that the institute was not recognized by UGC and it got closed, so can't get admission through distance mode. Now this thing not only affected my further studies but left me helpless as I was unable to switch any job due to my educational institute being closed. In 2012 I enrolled myself in a distance graduation program and completed B.COM from a UGC recognized university. I was working in BPO in the meanwhile and I was able to clear an IJP for IT position (Oracle Apps) so my profile is in IT now. I also hold onsite experience for the client I am working for. Now I have been trying to switch companies since a long time and I have posted my resume on each and every portal but I am not able to get any job. One of the reputed IT company interviewed me and after clearing all rounds, I was told that one the HR representative will contact me to discuss salary etc but I never got a call and I am being told now that I am on hold as I am B.COM graduation not B.E/B.TECH. I am not getting any calls from any company from any job portals and I suspect it's because the gap between my schooling and graduation is of 8 years. Can anyone advise me what to do in this situation when there is no my mistake as the institute got closed. I did graduation again by the time I came to know about it but it made the gap of 8 years between my schooling and graduation completion. I hold experience and many recognitions from client in my current position but all seems to be useless and waste as not even a single employer is contacting me or asking me why there is a gap. I have already hundreds of similar positions but no response from any employer. My current project will be ended soon and it seems I will be jobless.

Kindly advise.
