Dear Mr Nagarjun,
There are no Fixed Norms for maintaining Leave Record to be maintained, It may be either since Jan to Dec, or FY.
Only factory act provides the manner of providing and calculating leaves in Case of Earned Leave, One day leave allowed after working 20 days working.
Casual & Sick leave leave are available as per Standing Order applicable

Dear Mr Rajesh Kumar Dubey,
Your Post "There are no Fixed Norms for maintaining Leave Record to be maintained, It may be either since Jan to Dec, or FY." is with due respects " without application of mind & lack of knowledge".Please go through Shops & Establishments Act,Building & other Construction workers Act, 1996,Contract Labour Act to know about applicability/Eligibility of various types of leave provided therein.
Further, the same is to be credited on Calendar year basis i.e January to December.Further, your statement that "Casual & Sick leave are available as per Standing Order applicable is not factually correct.please revert to me if i am wrong
