Dear Seniors,
We plan to depute a few of our Sales and Marketing resources to different locations. Though they will be on payrolls of our company based out of Delhi, but they will be spread to other metro cities for Sales. I want to know leave rules of which state will be applicable to them, Delhi or the state where they are deputed.
Also what happens in case a colleague is distributing his time between 2 cities lets say Hyderabad and Mumbai. Kindly advise.
Regards

Dear Sohna,
The person is in Sales department, so he major work is to meet clients. Now for eg. He is in Kolkata, Kolkatta normally has the leaves for 3-4 days for Navratri... Delhi normally has only the Dassara day leave... Now, if you insist on he following Delhi Leaves, He is on enjoying a working day without any work as no clients are going to meet him...
Vise versa... Delhi has leave on Baisakhi and normally Kolkata has no leave on that day... So, if he follows the Delhi Leaves, he will lose one day of Business as the market & clients are working on that day in Kolkata...
So, it is always beneficial that we give the leaves as per the region he is working, this will help the organisation in terms of work getting done on time...
Rest, its your call...

Also, if the person is distributing his time in 2 states, then one will be his base state and the other he will travel considering the working days of the clients and market in the other state.
Hope the concept is clear.
