Our contract gets renewed year by year. As per the email I recieved in my company's official email on 6th of this month, it said, I will be relieved from Service on 31-03-2017 as non renewal of contract. I saw this message in the morning, and by evening at 7pm I was unable to access my email, and still unable not able to...wonder why would they do that. There was no break in the service since 2015 march. Earlier on feb 22 we all got an extension of contract till june 2017, because I had the audacity to ask them to correct the form on march 6th, things turned ugly. Not sure my Gross salary but my take home is Rs 18500 / month.
Its unfortunate that you are in trouble and you are away from job today but its not for longer duration (which you did not anticipate).From brief facts, I see that its not case of termination of services but simple case of "not extending services contract period anymore ". Actually its fact and co-incidence here that the contract between your company and you was to expire on 31st March 2017 and company HR simply informed about the same on 6th March 2017 about action of not renewal of contract is legally correct action.In this game which normally HR do not play, you are not entitled to notice pay also.Please invest your time on creative things joining with full strengths for a job sooner you should hunt for.

The appraisals for all the (company name deleted) staff will be completed by 15th March.
The extension of contracts upto June 2017 is not meant for postponement of appraisal date.
This may please be communicated to all your team members and assure them that the appraisals will be completed well before 31st March 2017.
