The company I am currently working for is acquired by a multinational company and we are asked to maintain minimum level of compliance. We belong to the IT industry.
Grateful if any of the HR professionals can guide me through with the list of Statutory and Legal compliance that need to be followed as a checklist.

It depends on your state labour laws. Below are some of the statutory norms to be followed out by the organisations 1. Professional Tax 2. ESI 3. EPF 4. GRATUITY 5. Minimum Wages 6. Bonus
You may have to follow statutory as per the Shops & commercial establishment act, Leave with wages as well beyond the above said
Is it possible to list out what are all the statutory provisions you have complied with presently. I don't think your co. would have failed on ESI/EPF/PT & bonus, payment of wages, gratuity, Shops & Comml.Estt.Act as of now. Rest others are to be examined after ascertaining what is not complied with only. Please prepare your own check list starting with present position.
