Respected Seniors,
Hope you all doing fine. My question is for a new organization that is in process of making policies. How can we calculate the leave encashment for following employee in the year 2017:
Date of Joing - 06-03-2012
Availed Leaves
10 days in Aug-2013 (Continuous on one leave application)
15 days in July-2016 (Continuous on one leave application)
07 days in Feb-2017 (Continuous on one leave application)
Now he's claiming leave encashment from his date of joining.
However, we have following Leaves entitlement for the year to employees:
Annual Leave - 14 days
Sick Leave- 08 days
Casual Leave- 10 days
Please also advise that long leave (like more than 4/5 days leave) may be taken as casual leave or would be considered as Annual Leave.
As per his leave status, please calculate the leave encashment and please keep in mind that the annual leave is entitled after one year service.
I will remain thankful to you.
Regards
Abdul Basit

Please confirm whether you organisation is new or old for more than 5 years old, if you state that an employee whose date of joining is 2012 it can't be new organisation. With regards to leave policy please type " Leave Policy" in the search tab you will find few leave policy you can amend it as per your need. Enclosing herewith the Leave policy for your perusal kindly check if it is of any help to you.

I see that you are based in Pakistan. Most advise that you will get here are India centric. I would suggest you to kindly look up the statutory provisions pertaining to Pakistan for you to understand what decision you need to take. Indian laws are irrelevant to Pakistan.
