How about EDLI Administrative charge of 0.01% (A/c. No.22)? Is it also done away with? See the following paragraph which I copied from another hr site.
Ministry of Labour and Employment decided to reduce PF administrative charges payable by employers. As per gazette notification issued on 15th March, 2017 new rate of contribution towards PF administrative charges will 0.65% of total EPF wages of an employee. It is also decided not to collect Administrative charges towards EDLI contributions.
“the Central Government hereby determines that no sum shall be payable for the time being by the employer in relation to his employees as the further sum payable by the employer every month to the Deposit-Linked Insurance Fund for the meeting the expenses in connection with the administration of the Employees Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 other than the expenses towards the cost of any benefits provided by or under that scheme.”

Please read sub sec 4a of Sec 6c. It clearly says - The employer shall pay into the Insurance Fund such further sums of money, not exceeding one-fourth of the contribution which he is required to make under sub-section 2, as the Central Government may, from time to time, determine to meet all the expenses in connection with the administration of the Insurance Scheme other than the expenses towards the cost of any benefits provided by or under that Scheme.

Dear Sir, Please confirm that EDLI charges will be 0 from 01st April 2017 or not as per this notification.
Sir, The Admin Charges effect to for the month of March’17 salary or April’17 Salary.
Reduced EPF admin charges should be effected to March17 paid in April 17 or April17 paid in March 17? Can any one clear it please?
As per the notification changes are effective from 1st April’2017. That means it is effective from the month of April’2017.
