Hello, I have worked in a company as a manager i would like to know if i can to labour court as i have a dispute with the company. I have heard that a manager cannot go to a labour court as i had an employee reporting to me as a co-ordinator, but he does not come under the payroll of the company (offrolls). Would like to know your valuable suggestions.

If you are a workman i.e. you do not have a supervisory/ administrative capacity and no authority to appoint, issue charge sheet, no one to report to you, then you come under the purview of labour court.
In your case, though the person reporting you is under the payroll of another company, yet in my opinion you will not be treated as workman.
However, for better advice more details of nature of work is required as well as the nature of dispute you want to raise.
