Dear sirs i want to know how much salary is paid to employee during maternity leave. recently in 2016 maternity leave is extended from 12 weeks to 26 weeks. i want to know is employee paid just basic salary during the maternity leave or do employee gets full payment during leave. recent maternity act 2016 gazette notification file is attached below. kindly let me know the payment benefits according to maternity benefit amendment act 2016

Dear advisors please help us with below query. my wife is working in a hospital from past 8 years who are following nabh standards. recently hr informed that salary for the 6 months will not be paid during her maternity leave and instead it will be only paid when she resumes work after 6 months. kindly confirm whether salary should be paid every month or when she resumes work after 6 months. whether she is entitled for maternity bonus and when it should be paid.

Dear seniors need your valuable advice one of our employee is on maternity leave we have given her the maternity benefits under esic we have appointed a new person in her absence on contract. now we want to appoint the new person on permanent basis in place of the old employee who is on maternity leave. i want to know if it is legally allowed if we terminate the services of the lady once she joins back office after her maternity leave by giving her 30 days notice / salary in lieu of notice.
