I would like to start a packed food manufacturing company around Chennai. Being a start up operation, we might employ less than 10 people initially. Should I apply for factory license? Is is very complicated? Thanks for your guidance.
Dear sir, Its not requirement of Law as long as you are maintaining under 10. Regds, RDS Yadav
Dear All - see there are CATCH in it, try to understand that if you are 'outsourcing/working/on contract job' for other company then larger company will be your PRINCIPLE EMPLOYER, it means you should pay all compliance of the same. pl. see new notification/letters regarding the same on respective website. hope it'll suffice for you.
