Dear All,
One side we say bonus to be calculate on basic + DA if basic is less than 7000/- so bonus will calculate on basic & DA & other side 7000 or 8.33% of minimum wages whichever is high.
if we calculate bonus on 7000/- while basic+ DA is 6000/- is it wrong or any legal issue if we pay bonus on 7000/-
Kindly clear doubt .

As per the existing provisions of the Bonus Act an employee who gets salary of Rs.21,000/- shall be eligible for bonus on a restricted slab of Rs.7000/- @ 8.33% If basic pay is less than the restricted pay, you should follow the actual of such of those of employees. However the Management is accepting your proposal you may do so.
