hi Seniors,
Im newly joined as an HR Executive in an consultancy, im interested in R field so only i just quited my previous marketing job which was my first job after my engineering degree, where i worked for 1 year, due to physical barriers. But my college mets are all in Software field earning more than 15k, but know im earning only 7k, My questions are as below,
1. Whether i will get the salary equal to software jobs in this HR field in future.
2. If i have any chance of getting that much of salary hike, what should i do for that in the way of,
a) changing the job
b) how many years to be working in same company
c) what are the ways to get salary hike.
3) If i will not get that much of salary hike, i can change my job to Software, because now im getting only 7k.
4) or i can select in networking side in which i have finished MCSE and im planning for CCNA.
Plz Help me with ur respectful views

You're really confused .
1.Changing the jobs because for Salary is not a ideal option .
2.You're not yet clear in what field you've to go.
3.You'd worked in Marketing, recruitment and interested in software ,microsoft networks & also cisco networks .
4.Hope you've gr8 skillset with you....

what is your short term goal other than getting a decent salary.

hi sir,

I dont have any small thinking, e always want to be an extra-ordinary person,

my Qualification-B.E.(EEE)

I like to become an Manager in an electrical company while im studying, then only i understand becoming an engineer in an electrical concern itself is too competitive and i still tried but i didnt get it

I prepared for MBA and i got admission in an Pune institute, but my final year result made me turn upside down, i got one arrears.

Then i searched for any management opening i saw an add called "Management Trainee" opening and i went for that interview i got that job, then after 2-3 months only i come to know it is like Marketing, but i learnt more from that field so i continued for one year and i got promotion there as trainer, but i cant able to continue that due to physical barrier and wrong habits.

Just now only before 1 month i got this HR job, only to become a manager, Because its my Long term goal and love it

"i want to become a manager its my goal, i try to sweat the blood for it, but i dont have any guidance from anybody"

Plz help me sir.

Friend , There is a lot of twist and turns in your career, which is the concern of most employers. Lets see what happens.
dear jag,
best wishes for ur future.
well. u have not mentioned ur MBA specialization.also u r not mentioned that whether u want to become a manager in any field or in particular.
its not easy to become a manager with a short span of period.
then dont compare urself with ur classmates,
if u want to earn huge like ur frens in a short period, then u have to select IT field,
if u want to become a chief in hr or electrial field, then u have to wait, u have to learn a lot from and through experience.
it all depends.
sit alone, close ur eyes, breath deeply take time, think and take a decision.
best wishes
