Appraisal is a process which an organisation has to embrace if it wants to improve its performance in terms of production, manufacturing, marketing, sales, service etc.whichever is applicable. It should be part of an organisation's mission. Much depends upon what kind of employees and at what levels such appraisal process to be covered. There are appraisal processes ranging from 90 degrees to 360 degrees. Normally, labour or workmen level employees are not covered in an appraisal process.
