An employee from outstation (Far way) would prefer to work for entire month and go for leave for 5-6 days in the next month, which should not be entertained
Weekly off should be made available within 10 days. But also check if there is mention of compensatory off in act applicable to your organisation & decide accordingly.
We already run 2 or 3 sunday in a month and give week off to employees, so now problem is that 5 sunday was open and employee want to take week off against ths sunday at Feb 2017.
In these case what need to do, i think so there was such rule for sunday week off alternative.
In a month there can be 5 weekly offs. Now if you call employee to work on weekly off day then you have to: OT wages at double rate of wages for non-managerial employee, compoff to managerial employee. Some orgs follow practice of giving compoff to all, but it is legally incorrect to do so.
