Dear hr experts/ epf consultants,
presently, i , a senior citizen , am working as associate vice president (hr & admin ) in pvt. Company . My contribution to epf is rs 1200 pm to have the it rebate u/s 80c , i want to contribute rs 12000/- pm towards epf .
Plz suggest
1. Whether it is tenable by epfo ,
2. Whether the additional amount of rs 10800/- to be shown in a separate column ,
3. Whether i will get it rebate and
4. Whether i will get the prescribed rate of interest on the accumulated money (epf)

Whether an employee of 62 working in a pvt. Company after retirement from state govt. Service can contribute voluntary epf of rs 12000/- pm whereas his scheduled contribution towards epf is 1200/- pm.
Can he contribute additional epf ? Is it lawful ?
Can he get benefit u/s 80c it act ?
Can he get specified interest rate of 8% pa on the epf deposit ?
