Hi,
I have shortlisted Fresher Grads for my organisation and I am in the process of offering them employment with a probationary period of 6 months and notice period clause of one month in case they resign post confirmation. As there is huge amount of risk involved in hiring as freshers attrite fast and we as a company are going to invest in their training as well,We are contemplating to ask them to submit their original documents like Marksheets/Graduation Certificate with us so that the candidates mandatorily serve their notice period and avoid any kind of unethical practice.
I would like to know whether retaining original documents of the candidates or making them sign a Employment bond is a ethical industry practice.
As a Company,we dont want to indulge in any kind of employment practice which are unconsidered unethical.
Looking forward to valuable inputs from this forum
Thank you.
