Friends please let me know if there is any govt ruling on paternity leaves.is it upto 15days in one speel and maximum to 2 spells.? as i know it is not covered by shops and establishment act and it is as epr the company to give it or not to give it .... please give me your valuable inputs asap... anu

About a maternity and paternity leaves
Hi all we have 3 months paid maternity leaves for all women in our organization but never give any male a paternity leave even when it was applicable. right now someone is asking for the same. in our hr policies made in 2009 it says paternity leaves are upto 30 days. i checked some info on google but it says paternity leaves are for 15 days only. also is it mandatory that they should take all leaves in one go or they can take some now and remaining later in the financial year as and when required? please suggest. thank you.

Paternity leave law - hr has deny for paternity leaves for 3rd baby
One of my colleague blessed with baby boy. he has 3 child now. he took the paternity leaves twice in past. now the hr has deny for paternity leaves for 3rd baby they said you had taken the leaves twice in past. we can grant for twice not more than twice. so what we can do for him. is there any rule for paternity leaves please share.
