Hi, I work for an ISO Certified Organization . Its been years we have kept 40% of gross as Basic salary(i:e 10000 gross so 10000*40%=4000 as basic ) and based on basic salary PF gets deducted . But as per PF updated rule now we need to specify both basic and gross salary of employee in PF Challan , And as per consultant if we don't keep minimum 50% as basic salary we may face issues in future from PF side ... Organisation may need to answer to PF employers about the same .
Can Anyone please suggest me is it true ? Please suggest in details what has to be done ? Thanks .
