Hello i am working for it firm where i have seen most of employee are moving one company to an other within shorter period. we have decided to rework on our employee contract letter. our directors mention that we have to input additional note in contract period where employees has to work at least 2 years. if you have any suggestions or any contract formate matching above requirement please forward it to me. fiyaz

In one of our fashion store outlets in up a contract employee drawing less than 18k per month has met with an accident on the job. this establishment is governed under the shop & establishment act the accident and subsequent hurt that happened was while the employee was doing routine store work. the employee was on contract with a contractor whom we have discovered had not enrolled the said contract employee under the provisions of the esi act. from a statutory point of view please guide me 1 if such a contract employee is applicable under employee compensation act 2 should the company have to pay for the contract employee under provisions of the employee compensation act considering his wage as rs 8k. also will the company have to pay any loss of pay to the employee in addition to compensation. 3 if the contractor is not fulfilling his obligations under esi act is there any penalty towards the principal employer. 4 does the employee compensation act also be applicable on an employee if he/she decides to work on the day of his/her weekly off.
Is it really required for an employee to work even after the end of the contract?
I joined my company on 14th september 2020 with a contract period of 1 year. after the contract ended i worked for the company for 1.5 months as i was waiting for an offer from the company. the company didn t meet my demands so i want to quit but they have said that i have to work for 1 month as the notice period is of one month. is it really required for an employee to work even after the end of the contract? if yes then what are the consequences of not serving the notice period.
Leaves for a employee on 3 months contract - if there is any law related to this?
Hi all i am very new to this forum. i have joined a small it organization in the pmo team. they have hired me on a contract for 3 months and my contract ended on 1st dec. they have now extended the contract another 3 months which is in total to 6 months. they are saying that i cannot take any leaves? is there any leave that i can take as they say that they do not have any for any contractual employees in the organization? how can a person work without any leaves? also they can again extend my contract after march 2021 and say no leaves? can anyone suggest if there is any law related to this or as an employee what is that i can ask them for?
Salary not received
Dear all i worked as a contract employee for an pvt ltd company in navi mumbai for 6 months. after the expiry of contract they asked me to continue work and assured me of the contract renewal.i worked for around 1 month without contract and later they told me to discontinue. i have even not received my salary for the last month after the contract expired. how can i claim that salary of one month? please advice.
Employee bond / contract agreement
Hi i need to draft an employee bond / contract comprising of points : 1. the employee needs to serve 3 years and cant leave the organisation unless on un avoidable situations. 2. also it should mention an amount say 5 lakh rupees on breach of contract to be paid by employee. kindly share if any such contract has been generated previously. i will make my own changes on it. thanks & best regards
