Hi Friends,

Here, I come out with new topic "Company Secretary". Actually, I'm planning to do this course. Based on this , i got more information about course details, eligibility, etc..

Why i'm stick on this course means? recently, my company has incorporated and get privatized. I'm the only person in HR dept for my company. For company registration, I've take more steps individually without auditor's guidance. Some of the process like DIN,DSC, Form 1 A, Affidavit , etc..

But final process like form 18, form 32 , i can't do with the auditor guidance. the problem is while filling this online form, finally they asking about the Licence No. of any CA/Auditor / Company Secretary. So, naturally i assist one company secretary and complete the registration for that final stage, i've paid Rs. 11000/- as fee for CS people.

So,I'm thinking now why should i do this CS course?

Friends, give me a suggestions and guide me n a right way..

Regards,

Saravana

Dear Saravana
It is nice that you are going to study Company secretary. To my knowledge it is ten times of BL course. So much of papers you have to pass and it requires constant reading and updating of your knowledge on many acts. It is on par with C.A course.
If you have free time of atleast 4 to 6 everyday you can pursue this course.
Wish you good luck in your studies.
All the best

Dear Friend Saravanan,

I read ur grievance. For a incorporating a company you have to seek the help of any professionals like CA or CS. That is mandatory. For filing the Forms like Form 18 , Form 32 etc the certification of the professional is essential , it is requisition by the Ministry of Corporate affairs. You can overrule that requisition.

For hiring the service of these professionals you have to give them professional charges. After all nobody is working for charity.

You can very well pursue the Cs course. as one of our member suggested it contains 3 stages Foundation, Intermediate and Final.

Foundation consists of 5 papers, these stage you can pursue even after completing your +2. For Intermediate, a pass in foundation or any graduation other than Fine arts is essential. After completing Intermediate you can register for Final. After completing Inter or Final you have to go for 15 months training unless you are exempted from training based on your Experience.

Yearly 2 times examination will there, that is starting from June 2 and december 26. You can register for this course throughout the year. But at least 9 months should have elapsed for writing the 2 groups exams together or 6 months for writing 1 group.

Thank you

Now you are going to become Executives & Professionals, as the CS Latest (New) Syllabus registrations have started and also CS New Prospectus are available in the ICSI chapters.

But what this Company Secretary New Syllabus is all about? Yes friends, you may acquaint the knowledge of CS New Syllabus and spread awareness of the same with this now.

Also, the ICSI-NIIT computer exams, before enrolling for CS Executive Program and Training requirements either after CS Executive/Professional Program remains the same.

Iread This Advertisement With Great Interest With Each Comment.
Finally, I Come To Conclusion That This Is One Among Advertisements... Road Side Madari And Zamure Kind Of Act On Website To Promote Educational Cources....
Its Common Sense If One Is Hr Professional What Makes Him Or Her Suddenly Switch Profession To Cs. Its Bogus Advertisement Which Is Totally Misleading.
I Spend 18 Year In Hr Worked Many Companies And Never Come Across Someone With Such Weekend Apprpoach Towards Certification.
Finally, Hr Definately Earns More Than Cs.....
Most Of Company Secretary Are Equiped With Ll.b Therefore If She Is Persuing Cs She Has To Complete Ll.b To Become Competitive.
What A Faltu Way To Make Mess Of Education And Its Valuation . To Become Company Secretary It Takes 5 To 10 Years Experience To Reach Some Respectable Salary Or Sum.

Dear Trisha,
Good to see you giving career advise to students. I am new to this forum and have joined it only a few days back. your reply to Saravana is ok but telling him that CS course is ten times of BL is not only wrong but misguiding too please take care while advising anyone. BL degree is the only course which enable a person to interpret a law you must have heard about National school of law, or the Law university Pune or symbiosis school of Law running BL pro gramme, they all have an incomparable reputation. no doubt the course of company secretary is a reputed course but it is an entirely different field and cannot be compared with BL course. so instead of comparing any two or three course it is first to be seen what objective a candidate has and only than he should opt for the course.
