hi seniros, i had recently joined in a factory, which exceeds 500 manpower recently, so i want to know what are the statutory compliance to be followed if factory exceeds 500 manpower?

1. Contract labor act
2. Workmen compensation act
3. Minimum wages act
4. Factory act
5. Maternity benefit act (in case female employees employed)
6. EPFO & MP Act
7. ESIC Act
8. Payment of wages act
9. Bonus act
There are many acts applicable to a 500+ manpower plant. Please be more specific for more accurate replies from members

In reference to my earlier mail, I would like to make it clear that though I have sent a complete list of labour laws, it doesn't mean that all laws will applicable to your factory.
Rather you will need to take the help of some professional or contact the local state labour officials.
