I have been working in manufacturing industry for 12 years.9 months back I've joined a company.upon completing 6 months I was called in for a meeting with my manager (1st meeting in six months!) to told would receive confirmation letter in few days & praise for my hard work& behavior albeit need some improvements in few areas for which I was not given any resources as promised.

On 7th month I was told they are going to extend my probation period by 3 months which came as shocked to me & I'll receive the extension letter in couple of days.then 9th month have also gone by but I haven't received any letter.since then I have been fearing for my job even though I'm giving my heart and soul into the company.

My manager does not conduct any one to one work related meeting at all since 1st day of my joining even after telling him so many times.my question is if I lose my job(which could happen in a days notice) would I be in a position to lodge any legal complaint considering I haven't received any official letter.it goes without saying I'm looking out for another opportunity but it's not easy considering domain I'm working in.situation is giving me lot of mental stress & health hazard.
