Dear friend,
I have gone through the game. If you have developed it on your own their my hearty appreciations to you. Nevertheless, following is the development feedback:
a) Time duration of the game is not mentioned
b) Occasionally game could haywire therefore, what are the pitfalls in the game is not mentioned
c) Have you implemented this game any time? What is your experience? Do participants misunderstand? If yes, how to avoid chances of misunderstanding?
d) Game can be played for six persons only. What if there are 20 participants?
e) Is the game acceptable to the senior level professionals? Will they find it childish? Will the game challenge them intellectually?
f) Lastly, what points trainer need to include in the debriefing?
If you develop the games then I might use your services for developing games for the top management professionals. Please contact me.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
Hello !

this is just a basic prototype of what can be a start. So before I further explain I will answer your questions first.

a) Time duration of the game is not mentioned

ans) The time durations usually depend on the task set up by the "Investigator who is assessing things and figuring who the spy is" As I said this game can be a short form fun game or a fun way to get the grading work done in a manner over long periods of time. In the scenarios I gave the time limit of it was 5min max if time runs out both parties fail. If the spy finishes his work and the so do the handlers than the spy wins.

b) Occasionally game could haywire, therefore, what are the pitfalls in the game is not mentioned

ans) That is why handlers in the game exists. The members of the team that is not only in the plan state but also are there for checking whether the job was done correctly or not. So they are the people who keep things in order but as they are party members the spy also makes sure that they do things according to plan and the spy get's the job done.

c) Have you implemented this game any time? What is your experience? Do participants misunderstand? If yes, how to avoid chances of misunderstanding?

ans) This game has gone through an alpha prototyping phase with people around the age of 20-26 it's a younger bracket I agree but that is whom I had in availability right now. Did they misunderstand ? It did take them 1 try to get used to the game but completely enjoyed and got the point of it through the second time. my second alpha it was understood in the first go. So it really depends on the people if it's a hit or miss.

d) The game can be played for six persons only. What if there are 20 participants?

ans) The table presented there was just the ratio on it. So you can keep increasing the tasks and investigators by adding more players and handlers. With more people it can only get more fun as more observation and analytical reasoning would be required. Also as the Spy acts like a team leader how he works with the other spy and get people to do the tasks necessary to make sure he can complete all the tasks with the other spy can only make it better.

e) Is the game acceptable to the senior level professionals? Will they find it childish? Will the game challenge them intellectually?

ans) Seeing the team building activities that are used n Drama classes at a professional level I am sure something this chaotic where people analysis and understanding who and what people do to "win". Represents the variety of a workplace and how chaotic things get professionally. Something like this can help people learn to breakdown prioritize eliminate and see the best possible way of getting things done. So I am sure this will be more than acceptable in a professional work place as something to break the stress and also to make them work together.

f) Lastly, what points trainer need to include in the debriefing?

ans ) Again in the rule book as it says debriefing will be based on "Constrains their missions should have". As I said in the game the investigator decides the Missions and they need to be concrete and defined. A basic guideline has been provided in my rulebook and we shall work on that with you to hopefully get you something that works in your environment.

With that said. This game is something i have made to adapt to different teams and places of work. I agree i have yet to come up with tracking mechanisms for if it was implemented in a way of daily "Organisational Work " effectively. If you want to further discuss this more personally through a call or something i would be compleatly fine with it just do tell me.

Thank you.
