Dear All,
I have a query that in case of voluntary pf deduction, can an employer or employee deduct pf @ less than 15000 limit where salary for the purpose of pf is way more than 15000. Also penal consequence for non-compliance, if any.

Sorry the scheme does not work like that. Once you are submitting PF for this employee you have to abide by section 6. So there is no was it can be changed with discretion. Penalty is under section 14 will be imposed 1 yr jail or 5000 Rs.
