From which date is notice period will be calculated? from resignation date or resignation acceptance date?
Hello connections i have a doubt related to the notice period calculation. resignation date: 10th june resignation acceptance date: 28th june notice period as per the company rules is 2 months what will be his last working day if he serves 2 months notice . 1 from which date is notice period will be calculated? from resignation date or resignation acceptance date? 2 how much time an employee should wait for the response on his resignation email? if he doesn t get response within a week the resignation can be considered as accepted? 3 if his resignation is not accepted what are the exit formalities?
Leave policy and resignation notice period
Please suggest me that in case an employee resigns and the resignation period being one month and the employee has also applied for his privilege/ earned leaves for a week or two during his notice period as well and still has left with leaves in his leave bank. kindly guide me whether we shall include or exclude leave period from his notice period and take the effect date of the notice period after his leaves are over as there is no mentioning in the leave policy that the leaves if granted during the resignation period shall be included/ excluded in the resignation period.
Resignation mail - notice period was reflecting 30 days, though he is still in the probation
As per trail mail the employee has applied for resignation on 27 th october through the myhr portal but his notice period was reflecting 30 days though he is still in the probation period. he has officially served the notice period of 7 days post his date of resignation. requesting to consider the same in his fnf statement. this is the mail i received on my resignation mail from my hr after serving a week of notice. this is an acceptance of resignation or not?
After accepting my resignation letter, denying my f&f payment
I have been working in a someone since last 78 months due to hostile working environment i decided to resign and gave them my resignation letter they accepted the same as well now on the payment of my outstanding amount for the 18 days i worked there they are saying that they will not give me the amount as i didn t gave them the notice period. i just want to ask that if they accepted my resignation then why they need a notice period they never demanded the same before my resignation and now saying that i am guilty of not serving a notice period. this should not be like this otherwise every company can use this strategy to cease the payment of employee by saying they didn t have the notice period after accepting their resignation either they shouldn t have accepted the resignation letter or should have demanded the notice period. is there any way of coping with them?

Hi i am currently working in a indian mnc i put resignation recently but my line manager and his line manager are accepting my resignation. in my company the resignation is done through sap. so i put my resignation on sap to my mangers and hr as per the procedure. after that i sent a hard copy system generated resignation letter with duly signed to all concerned. my question is when i ask my hr about the notice period she said the notice period starts from the day i put resignation and she told it has nothing to do with sap approval. as sap approval meant for due clearances. please clarify me when does an employee s notice period starts???? the day he submits the resignation??
