Begin with implementing the New Law namely Sexual Harassment f Woman at Workplace (P,P &R) Act 2013 and the Rules gazetted.
No Employer Head of Institution in India is Exempted from obeying the Law and taking following Mandatory Action-Steps:
1. Constitute the ICC ( Internal Complaints Committee) with at least 4 Members ( 3 Employees and One External) and Notify their Names and Office Contact Tel No & email etc;
2. Adopt a Policy on Creating a Safe and Secure Workplace Where No Woman shall be subjected to Sexual Harassment in alignment with SHWW Act Provisions;
3. Notify the Establishment's Policy regarding PoSH;
4. Organize Mandatory Programs for the ICC Members namely a) Orientation Program and b) Capacity and Skill Building Program to be conducted by Spl Educator as defined in the said Act/Rules;
Organize Mandatory Awareness Program covering all Employees to Gender Sensitize them and inform them about Penalties provided for committing Acts of Sexual Harassment which tantamount to Misconduct;
5. Ensure that the ICC Presiding Officer Files under her Signature , the Mandatory Annual Report before the District Officer, beginning Calendar Year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016
Stringent Penalties are prescribed for violating the above mentioned SH W W Act 2013.
Framing of Policies, Procedures Rules & Regulations, HR Handbook etc should be taken up simultaneously
