Basic pay fixation rules
I am regular employee of indian oil corp. ltd. my basic pay is reduced after issue of basic pay fixation letter. i have worked in the offciating capacity in the higher pay of ten percent from my existing pay for some time and after due time i got promotion in the same grade.so my earlier pay fixation is done on the increased amount of my ten percent and my real basic. but now the management have refix my basic on normal basic leaving ten percent. i would like to know whether basic once fixed can be reduced or not....

Hi we have prepared an increment for all our employees by utilizing one consultant. during observation of the report it is noted that for some of the employees the basic pay components are decreased when compared to the existing whereas the increment is adjusted in other allowance. overall that employee may get the increment but the basic pay is less than the existing basic pay. pls guide us whether we can consider this increment sheet

Dear all is there any provision for fixing basic pay of the employee whose gross is more than rs 10000 per month.now a days it has come to our notice that pf enforcement officers are asking to fix basic pay of employee at least to 6500 of gross 10000 so that employee can avail maximum benefits.is there any legal provision or court judgment on it. please share on urgent basis.

Hi hr folks the sixth pay commission have reccomanded 40 hike in existing salary for all of the 45 lakh government employees with effect from 1st jan 2006. now question is "should salary of government employees at par with the salary as private sector employees ?" do most of them work as the way private employees are working ? regards dn
