Omais,
Its is general practice that if somebody is on leave for 10 days and some gazetted holidays come during this leave period, mean holiday are sandwich the normal leave, will be treated as leave. In case if such holidays, gazetted holidays comes before or immediate after the leave period will be treated as holiday/gazetted holidays, that will not affect employees leave or pay.
bets of luck.

Dear Omais,
Our friends have correctly stated in their replies. The holidays that fall in the middle of availed leaves will be incorporated in obtained leaves, it is ia general rule and is followed in all companies.

HI dear,
So far my knowledge is concerned if anybody avails the leave for three days and Sunday comes in the middle- Even sunday is considered as a leave as per the Indian companies norms. Suppose i am availing leave on Saturday and Monday- and i resume my duty on Tuesday. then obviously three days leave will be considered in my account.
Hope this will give you a clear Idea.

Hi The counting of a sandwiched holiday as leave availed is done only when one takes PL or SL and nor for CL.
