Dear All,
I am working in cooperative society as HR department. Some girl employees want to change her office timing. present days their office timing is 10 am to 6 pm.
but they want to change into 10 am to 5:30 pm. Please suggest if it should be allowed?

Dear Sir I think you have to change the time. As you now from October to Feb days are short. thats why girls in your company demanded to reduce the time.

There is absolutely no rule with regard to this keeping in mind the timeline you shared, it is purely management discretions whether to give credence to the same or not

You can change their timings.But it should be from 9.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m. If you reduce the duty from 8 hours to 71/2 hours than it can be a trend and in future other employee will also demands.

Working hours are at the discretion of the management, however maintaining same length of time for work hours, if you wish to change the timings in the interest of safety or smooth commuting, the management may agree with the suggestion.
