Dear All,
In spite of various arguments, between us, we all can once again thoroughly review the festival holidays act and rules of TN for TN and for respective states for the respective state holidays. For national holidays also the respective festival holidays rules will speak.
Thanks and Regards,

Dear All
We are giving sunday only if employee worked for 4 days(8 hrs a day) or 32 hrs in a week. only then he/she earned the coming Sunday. This is our company policy but during the Audit , Auditor is not convinced with the same policy & marked it as Non Conformity.
Kinldy guide me & if possible kinldy provide any document for the same so that I can validate my point.
Also want to know, if we add this sunday policy in our standing order, is it still mark as NC .
Kindly answer my query ASAP.

Dear Karthikn.G
An employee is eligible for a national holiday payment if he has worked one third of the days in immediately preceding 90 days before the NH in question. The salary might not be prepared as he was fully on leave but if he claims., he is eligible for the payment. Even if he is absent for the entire month of August, his one day NH leave to be credited to his account if he has worked one third of continuous days (including weekly holidays) before independence day. I think you are now more clarified.
