esic recently has announced
1) new coverage areas in andhra pradesh . this requires specific notification through gazette which is not available.
2) esic has recently announced upward revision in the coverage limit i.e. from 15000 to 21000. no notification is available
on this also.
3) esic has recently announced reduction in the contribution rate (i.e. 3% employers + 1% from employees = 4% total as against 6.5% ) for the first 24 months in areas where coverage
under the act is coming newly for the first time.
On all the above issues, i am not getting official notification on any cite, even gazette notification is also not available.
