There has been changes in company s salary structure.
Before my joining co has fixed baisc of rs 3000 for all salaried person, whether 10000 or 30000 salaried employee .
Now company decided to change it as per gross salary slabs.
Like below 15000 gross salary employees salary would have basic 20% of 15000 gross.
So now 10000 gross salary employees basic is 2000 which was 3000 before.
I want to know whether company can do this?
Is there any salary structure available in any statutory acts or rules like pf or labour law( mini wages is there by no salary structure).
