I was recently terminated a month ago due to write up policy. I was able to talk to the store manager and he had me reinstated two days ago. But I was not going to be able to return to previous position of bakery wrapper in the fresh department, I believe it is because the manager of that department has something against me and won't allow me to return. I was told I could come back in the lowest starting position of a cashier. But the day I was reinstated as an associate , a write up prevents me from moving positions from bakery to cashier. I am currently on day two of waiting impatiently for what they are going to do. Now my question is : since I have been formally reinstated not re hire but reinstated with the store...legally don't they have to put in a position with the store or back in my previous position? Or can they terminate me ? Help where do I stand ?
