Dear Madam,

You are 59.8 years old. Quite unfortunate that you are required to endure boorishness or brazenness of the senior. Nevertheless, while writing your post, you have not written the context or background. Is it public limited company or private limited? What is the nature of your work?

While we can call your boss as insensitive person, choice of his language shows that he is quite frustrated with you. This is because of mismatch between your boss's expectations and the quality of your work. Had you been junior, we would have advised you to upgrade your skills. But you are at the threshold of your retirement. Therefore, I recommend tolerating bad behaviour of your boss for few more months and retire honourably.

Tolerance apart, you need to maintain cool also. Control your emotions and do not retaliate. At this stage, your smooth exit is important. If you lower your guard, your boss may get provoked and he could throw spanner in your career's wheel that is moving towards retirement.

If possible, try to make list of the occasions for which your boss was upset on you. Rather than blaming the him, find out what you could have done better. Partially your boss could be upset because of your quality of your English. You could have worked to improve it. However, now it is too late.

Regards,

Dinesh Divekar

For the queries, the allegations against the management is not very clear. It does not look like even sexual harassment. I believe that management is intentionally harass you just before the age of your superannuation (hopefully it is 60 for you) so that they can deprive/ harass you of your legitimate dues. I suggest you stick to you job somehow till you attain the age of superannuation and keep in touch with a lawyer as a precautionary measure.

It is unfortunate that this experience you have to go through. Does your company have a Code of Conduct or an Ethics Committee. If yes, then please file suit there. Incase there isn't one ask HR Head to create one or the top management for creating one.
You are 4 months short of retirement, I guess. Please take it easy onto yourself. Do not allow anyone to dis-respect you. Raise the issue with location HR or relevant head. I am sure there are objective people around. Take leave Incase it is too much to bear and return back once you are mentally strong to challenge and face it! Do not resign!
