Hi i had given the notice of 3 months of my intention to leave the organisation to my employer and they accepted the notice and relieved me after 5days of giving the notice letter. now they are asking me for the notice pay. am i liable to pay the notice amount to the company inspite of me giving the notice for the required no. of days and they relieving me at their discretion??? when i asked for the notice period clarification through mail as to why i am not allowed to serve the notice period the hr guys didnt revert back and when took the issue to their superiors the hr person called me up and abused me over the phone. kindly let me know whether im liable to pay the notice amount to my employer or the employer needs to pay me the notice amount or full salary? or should i take a legal action on my employer? pls advice. thanks & regards
Is it compulsory to give notice period to employer
Respected sir my employer not giving my salary on time since last 23 years. salary getting once in a two month now december salary is pending and company not releasing my lta from the period 2008 to till date. it is part of my salary deducting equal monthly amount. if i resign is it necessary to give notice period of two months they have mentioned in my appointment letter? also please confirm me the calculation of gratuity period?

Dear hr gurus i am in dilemma regarding the "notice period" clause of appointment letter. my query: is it authentic to have only notice period and not salary in leiu of notice: for example can we have the clause this way: either party the employee and the employer can terminate the employment by giving one month s notice. is it mandatory to have the option of salary in lieu of notice? i would eagerly welcome your recommendations. thanks

Dear expert i am confirmed employee and worked in sr position with mnc. i requested through email to my employer for for causal leave due to some swear problem my services are terminated without giving me any notice " my appointment letter having a clause that "12 termination of employment during the probationary period and any extension thereof your services may be terminated on either side by giving one months notice or salary in lieu thereof. however on confirmation the services can be terminated from either side by giving two months60 days notice or salary in lieu thereof. my query is is employer is liable to pay my pending salary that was for 15 days 2 that employer is liable to pay notice period salary that is for two months that employer is also liable to pay compensation for illegal termination . thanks kind regards s.gill
Terminating probationary employee - without giving him 1 month salary or notice?
One of our employees is being transferred to another location.however he is refusing to relocate.the company wishes to terminate him without giving him a notice.he is still on probation.these are the clauses mentioned in the offer letter: 1. probation period: you will be on probation for six months.your confirmation will be communicated to you in writing. company reserves the right to terminate your employment in case your performance behavior and or conduct during the probation period is found unsatisfactory. 2. notice period: during your employment with company either you or company can terminate the appointment by giving 30 calendar days written notice or 1 months basic salary in lieu of the notice unless an employment bond is active.no bond it also reserves the right if it is in the interest of the business and current assignment to ask you to complete your notice period or decide whether your existing earned vacation or basic salary in lieu of notice period may be adjusted against the entire or partial notice period. kindly suggest how to terminate him without giving him 1 month salary or notice.
Employer giving me one month notice also cut down my half salary
