Hi all i request you to share your thoughts on the following topic : normally with employees 20 and above pf is mandatory. but if the employer says "i don t want to run this all pf show i fixup the ctc without pf whoever will be interested them only i will take" then what will happen ? suppose some x s basic is 7000. upto 6500 basic pf employer s share is compulsory. for above 6500 basic it is optional to employer. means for x he can pay 12 6500 and he need not pay on total 7000. please confirm is it correct or not ? thanks vs

Query on compulsory pf diduction
Hi all i am working as a hr in a it company. my employer is trying to impose compulsory pf for all employee.but many employee s are not coming in pf slab and they do not want pf.still my employer trying to implement it forcibly. and 1 more thing he is deducting both part from employee salary. is this legal? and can any employee take any legal action against employer as they are doing it compulsory for all and deducting both end from employee salary. pls reply soon. regards rashmi

Dear sir just want some clarification on pf rules and applicability. 1. a company having more than 20 employees has to compulsoryly get a pf number but if the employees basic salary is more than 8100. is it compulsory for the company to pay pf in this case or is it upto the company not to pay pf? 2. if an employee who is new joinee was getting pf deducted with his old employer what are the rules on joining his new company if the company does not pay pf. pls advise. regards nakul

I want to know if giving pf is mandatory we have 25 employees all drawing around 810000 salary. do we have to apply for pf and if so how much do we need to pay from employer and employee side.
Notice period compensation
Hi all i am siva and i work for a private sector and in offer it was specified that if employee want to leave organization 2 months notice is compulsory. now im on floor and i have resigned for my job and the notice i gave is 2 weeks. could anybody help me in following regard 1 what will be the compensation i have to pay towards my employer? 2 is it total one month salary i have to pay ? 3 only basic for two months i have to pay? 4 how i need to handle the situation. 5 is it compulsory that i have to pay compensation even if i was on bench 6 what are the policies that comes under labour act for employee exit with short notice 7 are there any common policies falls under labour act that every company need to follows thanks in advance. sorry for inconvinience thanks and regards siva.
