Dear sir/madam,
We have applied for PF Claim for our three employees. But it has been rejected by EPFO. The EPFO is mentioned the reason as KYC document is not available/uploaded. So we reject this three claim applications.
Now what can we do.
Can employee upload their KYC documents in UAN member portal by themself (or) can employer upload all employees KYC documents to UAN member portal.
May i know whose is this responsibility to upload KYC documents in EPFO site
Please clarify above things
Thanks with Regards

Dear,
On mentioned scenario employee must have all the documents and will give it to concerned person, after it must be approved by employer.
according to EPFO department, they will push the employer for the same not to employee. Hence this responsibility falls under employer but employee will provide you all the documents.

Dear HR Professionals,

Our Ex-employees (5 nos.) PF Claim has been forwarded to our head office (HO) by EPFO.

EPFO has given below reply:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to your Grievance registered vide Registration Number SROXX/X/201X/00XXX.

It is informed that after processing your grievance, the following action(s) has been taken:

It is to inform that the claim form 19 & 10 C forwarded to your ex employer vide this office letter dt 28.06.2016 with an advise to approve the KYC details(Aadhar, Bank a/c and PAN) in UAN portal. Therefore, you may contact your ex employer and submit the KYC details immediately. On receipt of the same your PF account will be settled.

Therefore, we are closing your grievance from this office. Please quote the same in your future correspondence.

Note: Its a system generated reply hence does not require signature. Please do not reply it.

We are the site management only. Our HO only is having rights to access employer portal at EPFO Website.

Our HO asked to employee to upload his KYC details(Aadhar, Bank a/c and PAN) in UAN portal. Then HO will approve the same. After then HO will be sending that same PF form to EPFO to get claim.

But

(i) our employee do not know how to upload his KYC details(Aadhar, Bank a/c and PAN) in UAN portal.

(ii) our employees are uneducated

(iii) Employees are not having PAN Card.

(iv) He lost his registered mobile number

(v) Forgot his UAN portal password.

Totally impossible to upload employee KYC Details by employee itself.

But employee need PF Claim

How it is possible?

I want to know that Is it possible to upload and approve employee KYC details by employer?

What are steps required to take by our HO to get claim.

Please provide your valuable solutions. I will convey your solutions to our HO.

Kindly clarify above things

Thanks with Regards

calm down, responsibility remains in the hands of Employer.
(i) our employee do not know how to upload his KYC details(Aadhar, Bank a/c and PAN) in UAN portal.
(ii) our employees are uneducated
A) Employer must do it without any further delay since you're well aware that your employees are incapable of doing it.
(iii) Employees are not having PAN Card.
A) insist them to get one ASAP, takes around 2 weeks to obtain new PAN
(iv) He lost his registered mobile number
A) Employer must upload their new mobile number to UAN portal
(v) Forgot his UAN portal password.
A) Since the above points makes you understand it is the responsibility of the employer to upload all the details, employee do not need to access his/her UAN portal to settle their PF accounts.
Your management need to be more employee friendly.

Dear Thirumurugan, KYC documents to be upload either by a member of employer, those should be digitally approved by employer than only the claim will be accepted. Hence the best way is that , employer has to upload the KYC to avoid further consequences while in the claim processing by EPFO.
Thanking you

Please enter the details in the bulk text file and upload it. With this the problem of individually uploading the scanned copies of adhar, passport, licence, etc can be avoided. Since this is uploaded by employer, no need to go for any scanned copies.
The text file is available in the EPFO website.
