Amendment To Payment Of Bonus Act, 1965

As per the Amendment, the words "ten thousand rupees" in Section 2 (13) have been substituted for the words "twenty one thousand rupees".

Further, in Section 12 of the Principal Act, for the words ''three thousand and five hundred rupees'' at both the places where they occur, the words ''seven thousand rupees or the minimum wage for the scheduled employment, as fixed by the appropriate Government, whichever is higher'' has been substituted.

Query:

As per Act Bonus: Should be paid, 7000 or Minimum Wage which is higher. Ex. In Our State Minimum Wage is 7800 means we had to pay 7800 right?

Our Head office located in Jubilee Hills, Where we process all Salary process from here, for all branches located in INDIA.

Hence My query here is Minimum wage changes from state to state. Ex. Delhi Min wage is More when compared to Telangana.

What rule we had to follow, for payment of Bonus for all employees.
We are paying bonus as monthly component as = 7000/12 = 583.3, for all employees. So, how can we change easily for all employees.
In minimum wages, for every state employees also bifurcated as Skill, semi-skilled & Un skilled. For these cases also how to pay for bonus if employee bonus is bifurcated by skill wise.
