PFA National Civil Aviation Policy 2016 issued by the Government on 15.6.2016. It provides for a cap on airfare of Rs.2,500/- per passenger for distance of 500 to 600 kms. (equivalent to about 1 hour of flight) on routes covered under Regional Connectivity Scheme which will come into effect in second quarter of 2016-17.
